The consultants engaged have analysed the current and future situation for soccer participation and the provision of soccer facilities in the Shire. A draft report and summary report have been developed which explores future options and provides strategic directions to support the sport. Refer to Strategic Directions - Section 7 of the draft report (pp.59-63) and Section 6 of summary report (pp.8-14). A number of recommendations are proposed - refer to p.61 of full report and p.11 of the summary report.

The Colac Otway Soccer (Football) Hub has been identified as a key recommendation from the study. A master plan for what this looks like has been developed. A staged approach for construction of the new facilities has been proposed. Refer to Section 8 of the full report (pp.64-81) and Section 7 of the Summary Report (pp.15-23).
