Kerbside Service Request

This form is for requesting a New Kerbside Waste Collection Service within the Colac Otway Shire Council region.

Fees Apply

The current annual charge for a weekly kerbside collection is $351.00 per annum. Charges appear on your property rates notice as Weekly Waste Collection. Current waste collection fees and charges can be viewed on Council's website.

New Applications

Applications for a New Kerbside Waste Collection service can only be approved for newly constructed properties. You will need to supply a Certificate of Occupancy with this application.
If you are unsure of the status of your property, require a service to an existing property or require further information, please email inq@colacotway.vic.gov.au .

Important Information

Bins must be placed out the night before collection and a weight limit of 80 kgs applies to all bins. For more information on kerbside collection visit www.colacotway.vic.gov.au.

The bins detailed below are provided by and remain the property of Colac Otway Shire Council. They should not be removed from the property or used for any other purpose than the kerbside collection.

Bins Supplied:

  • 120ltr RED lidded waste bin (landfill)
  • 240ltr YELLOW lidded bin (recycling - plastic, paper and cardboard)
  • 240ltr GREEN lidded bin (organics - food scraps and greenwaste)
  • 120ltr PURPLE lidded bin (recycling - glass)

Authorisation

By signing this agreement, I hereby authorise the above request and agree to the appropriate charges being reflected on my rates assessment notice.

The personal information requested on this form is being collected by Colac Otway Shire for the purpose of waste collection services or another related purpose. The personal information will also be disclosed to Colac Otway Shire’s waste collection contractors for the purpose of waste collection. It will not be disclosed to any other external party without your consent, unless required or authorised by law.
